Senior Client Development Manager
Job description
We are excited to partner with a full-service law firm on its search for a Senior Business Development Manager. This position is an integral part of the firm's larger Marketing and Business Development function and a critical piece of firm's lateral partner integration process. This role may be in any of the Chicago, Charlotte, Dallas, New York, or Washington, D.C. offices.
The Senior BD Manager will focus on several firmwide initiatives, including lateral integration, attorney business development coaching and training, and the execution of the firm's Client Service Team and Client Feedback programs. With the two core focuses of the role being lawyer integration and client service, this person will work collaboratively with the other members of the M&BD Department to proactively drive business development activity across the firm.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a thorough and specific understanding of the capabilities of the firm's practices and client base
- Partner with other department members to identify opportunities for cross-selling across the firm's practices; vet these opportunities and facilitate their pursuit in a coordinated manner
- Work with individual attorneys to develop and implement business development plans; provide ongoing one-on-one business development coaching/training to attorneys
- Lead the firm's lateral partner integration program
- Participate in the firm's Client Service Teams program and manage assigned Client Service Teams
- Contribute to implementation of the firm's Client Feedback program
- Contribute to the implementation of business development skills training for attorneys
This firm offers a hybrid work model, allowing the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely on a regular basis.
