Business Development Manager - White Collar & Investigations

Job description

We are delighted to be working with a Am Law top 20 firm to recruit a marketing professional to take on a Business Development Manager role covering the interesting White Collar, Fraud & Investigations space.

The role will work as part of a global team working with individuals based in North America and Europe. We are keen to engage current legal marketing professionals who have a keen interest in this space and would feel excited about joining a global firm who can offer fantastic mid-long term career development growth too.

Core duties included in the role:

  • Work with the firms practice leadership team to coordinate the firmwide marketing and business development plans for the group, working with the senior manager for the group to manage the budget accordingly.
  • Advise and coach the lawyers and partners for the group on the client relationship and development aspect of business development, some of these will be specific to the North America market and others will involve working with the European team on global clients.
  • Lead the development of the firms market leading thought leadership program for the group, identifying interesting authors and contributors to produce thought provoking content.
  • Be proactive in evaluating and coordinating the firms sponsorship and events program, working with the central events function to create this.
  • Have an interest in developing more junior marketing talent within the group, you will have line management of 1 professional based in the DC office.
