Business Development Manager - Energy
Job description
We are delighted to be supporting leading law firm Hogan Lovells, with hiring a global business development manager role in Houston, D.C. or New York, supporting their energy sector.
This role will be integral in supporting the energy sector globally, collaborating with colleagues across Europe, while also taking a leading role within the U.S. team. Additionally, the position will serve as the business development lead for the firm’s Future of Energy group, a key area of investment that will provide the opportunity to work across practices and sectors in this dynamic and rapidly growing field.

As the Business Development Manager, your core duties will include:
Working with the global sector heads, to produce thought provoking and high quality thought leadership and marketing content to support firm campaigns that will help to continue raising the brand's profile on a regional and global basis.
Take a lead role in working with the key partners and team leads to define and develop the strategy for the firm's key client base within the energy sector.
Be a key client relationship manager for some of the firm's key and largest energy sector clients, ensuring that best practice is implemented, working in tandem with the central client development team.
Conduct client feedback interviews, that will form part of the overall client listening program for the energy sector.
Coordinate and produce research and analysis for the group, this will include looking at competitor analysis, potential new clients and ensuring the firm is up to date with key market trends.
Manage pitches and RFPs for the sector, including working with the central pitch and proposal team to input knowledge into the bids and RFP process as and when required by the sector's needs.
Identify and coordinate events for the firm on a regional and global basis, in partnership with the central events team.
