Business Development Manager - Energy

We are delighted to be supporting an Am law top 20 firm, on hiring a global business development role in Houston supporting their energy practice. The position will form part of a wider global BD supporting Energy based within the US and Europe.

Within the role you will play an exciting part of driving the marketing plan for the Energy group, working with senior fee earners to coordinate a global strategy and also tailoring a North American market strategy too.

From a development perspective you will work closely with the Head of BD for the group and also other senior marketing professionals, giving you great exposure to continue your growth as a BD Manager.

  • Working with the global head of, to produce marketing content for the Energy group, covering a number of areas including, renewables, oil and gas & nuclear.
  • Act as the client relationship manager for a number of the firms largest Energy clients, continue to develop these existing relationships whilst also looking for cross selling opportunities within the firm.
  • Produce thought leadership content for the group to raise internal and external brand awareness.
  • Identify and pull together a comprehensive events plan for the Energy group, monitoring the ROI of these industry events.
  • In tandem with the central pitch function, respond to RFP's and tenders specific to the Energy practice.
