Senior Business Development Specialist
Job description
I'm tremendously excited to be partnering with a Top 20 Am Law firm on their search to add a talented Senior Business Development Specialist to their Litigation practice!
In this position, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of the Litigation practice to support key initiatives and drive growth. You will be reporting into the Senior Manager as well, which I believe offers the preferred candidate an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the vertical before taking on a management-type role. Beyond that, this provides an excellent opportunity to develop cross-selling and key client support experience from both global and local standpoint.
I would love to speak with professionals with 4+ years of Legal Business Development experience, with a focus on the Litigation practice area. Being an enthusiastic team player, who is looking to contribute and take part in a top-class culture, is a must as well.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare pitches and RFP responses, directory and award submissions, and develop/maintain practice group credentials and other relevant materials specific to each opportunity.
- Supervise the league table submission process, including coordinating with global Litigation team.
- Support senior team members by attending practice meetings to develop agendas, document key takeaways, and follow-up on agreed action points.
- Conduct research on existing and target clients, trends in the market, and competitor activity.
- Liaise with the Communications team to curate website and practice specific content while working in conjunction with the Events team to plan and execute internal and external events and sponsorships.
- Work with the CRM team and the legal assistants to consistently keep the Firm's CRM system up to date.
