Senior Business Development Manager
Job description
I'm extremely excited to be partnering with an AmLaw top 10 firm on their search to add a Senior Business Development Manager to their growing Private Capital Transactions team.
The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the Practice Director to support and drive strategic growth initiatives, client development and market positioning for the #1 Flagship Practice Area, Private Capital Transactions. The objective of the successful candidate would be to develop and construct strategy to support and increase visibility for the partners and other supporting attorneys. I feel this is an excellent opportunity for someone with some management experience to further their growth as a leader, while taking a larger role in the strategic planning and support for partners.
I'd love to speak with professionals that have previous Legal Business Development within a Law Firm, preferably those with extensive experience in this area. Ideally, the preferred candidate would have a solid background and understanding of the Private Equity industry.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as central point of contact, both internally and externally, within the wider Private Capital Transactions team primarily, and with the larger firm and other internal or external stakeholders
- Work closely with Lawyers, Partners and other key stakeholders within the firm to understand firm-wide capabilities to leverage specialist-led relationship building with key or primary accounts
- Play a key role in the diversification of revenue streams by identifying new business or relationship opportunities that haven't been already leveraged by the firm
- Point of contact for any and all client feedback for the firm, which then must be presented to key internal stakeholders
- Work with wider business services teams to implement and manage IT tools for use in communicating our relationship with clients
